the PS3 has some games in 3D, i have them, Avatar being one. there are others and they are making more with 3D support. if you have a PS3 go to the Store web, games, you will see they have a 3D section to look over, they have demos too........

If you don't want to get an Nvidia card for your PC, you can also get an ATI/AMD card. Instead of having to use the proprietary Nvidia Vision Kit, you can use the same glasses and emitter that you would use for a 3D-TV. You will also need a 3d driver from tridef or iz3d, but they are available at half-price for ATI/AMD video card owners. The Tru3D guys probably have a whole kit available or something, they can at least steer you in the right direction. The downside with the Nvidia kit is not being able to just use it with the PS3 or a 3D Blu-ray player, so you end up having to buy two sets of glasses. Yeah, there's some hack where you have to leave the computer on with a video loop running, but who wants to be sucking down 400 watts to a computer when you're not even using it... I'd go the non-proprietary route.

Enjoying BF4 on the PS4, bugs and all.

Or you can follow the directions from this thread, and spend the $300 you saved on some 3d movies. There is some risk, but so far no one has posted any failures/damage to TVs.

Wouldn't you only save $170 since you'd still have to buy the 3D-A1 for $99 and the powerstrip software for $30? Assuming of course that your time also has no value...
