hi i have a panasonic 3d bluray player bt350 connected to the mits adapter then to my mits 73838 dlp tv, can i watch 3d bluray movies in full hd with this setup or do i have to use checkerboard mode

regardless of how you sent the stream to the TV, internally it will always be checkerboard. That is how 3d on DLP TVs work. So if you set the player to send full 3d you would need the Mits adapter to make it checkerboard. Might as well not have the adapter in line unless you need to convert a stream from another device that does not know how to output in checkerboard.

I believe the Panasonic Blu-ray player has the option to send checkerboard so you don't need the Mitsu adaptor.

Yes, the 350 has a checkerboard option. The adapter is not needed, but it is needed if you want to use Direc TV 3D for the set.
