Just got the new re- chargeable glasses and in the manual it states to charge them by USB via the port on the tv. I have 4 pair and would like to know if it's alright to charge them with a USB wall charger. I have one that has two 5v 500ma ports.

Actually, we went and bought a wall charger with 4 usb ports, thinking we could use that. It did not work. I think they have to be charged directly from the USB in the tv.

My 2012 Panasonic 3D glasses charge fine plugged into my PC's USB port, so it doesn't have to be the TV's USB to charge them.
Some USB ports may not have enough current capability however, have to verify that.
