Click on the english flag on top, and read the text. You will find somewhere in the middle.

And don't forget to share your result!!

I am SO HAPPY right now! I tried your "trick" and it worked perfectly. No more money down the drain, no more pieces or parts to buy. Seriously, this did work. I don't know how, but it did. Here I thought Relaxman was trying to scam me into spending money, but no, he really told me how to fix the problem without cost. Nice!

It's good to know that this trick works consistently. I wonder if you actually have to connect a second screen? I think there is an option in the windows 7 display properties to enable an output even if no screen is connected, something like force screen detection, and it should default to 60Hz refresh arte anyway, maybe someone can try it? It seems like the extended desktop forces some kind of frame-buffer sync between the displays, it would be interesting to know how this helps Stereoscopic player, maybe someone should tell Peter Wimmer about it!

A thank you post (reason for joining) regarding advice in this thread.

Tried everything to get 3D working without jitter through a HTPC on a PJ (W600+). In the end, bought the Nvidia 3D vision kit based upon advice in this thread (used EDID override to get PJ/nvidia kit working together), hooked up the USB emitter and jitter free through stereoscopic player!

In response to other comments on here, once Left/Right eye is OK with DLP Link (which you setup at the start of the movie) never have a problem with eyes randomly swapping after some 20+ hours of 3D viewing.

btw, extended desktop "trick" made no difference (which was unfortunate!)

You can also emulate the nvidia emitter, no need for hardware.

"extended desktop "trick" made no difference (which was unfortunate!)"

At many people it works, i get not one "thanks" emails...

Hi Relaxman and everybody,

Thanks for sharing the solutions, idea and tricks.

I will try both solutions: emitter and relaxman trick and report back the result. I have 2 questions:

1. Besides stereoscopy player, what other software can play 3d bluray movie dvd or iso with dlp link glasses?

2. relaxman trick using vga connector actually not utilize the hardware decoding of the gpu card?

Thanks
Alpha

Been reading this thread to try and sort new 3D setup which consists of an optoma EW536, DLP glasses and mac mini with intel hd3000 gpu and windows 7 on bootcamp.

Just tried stereoscopic player and aspect ratio of my mkv was small besides was getting constant drops....

Any solution? Wil, the intel hd3000 work with 3D or do I need 3dxl ?

Managed to get some 3D but was stuttering....

Didnt like stereoscopic player so stuck at the trial

hi,
i have same jitter problem (SPlayer, soft. page flipping)
can someone explain to me relaxman's trick?
I go to the page , but all I see is an offer to buy a movie...

and I'm sort of pissed that i bought 3d Ready PJ (W600+)
Pair of shutter glasses (NEC) and my laptop if failing to provide..
I don't even know who is the one to blame.. guess Nvidia

Oh and btw even if I want to buy 3d Vision Kit (pay Nvidia off) I cannot, because my GPU is 9800M GTS and it's not supported. I am sure it's capable of handling 3d stereoscopic function, but now I can't even buy a dongle(or a kit) to make it right, because Nvidia wants me to buy new GPU(well then i have to buy a whole laptop) I am very dissapointed....

PS: Sorry for my english. I'm not a native + I tend to fail in grammar when I'm angry ....
