Hi I have just brought:
1 Panasonic TXP50VT20E
1 Onkyo TXSR508B 3D AMP
1 Samsung BDC5900 3D BD player

on my macbook pro I have over 100 Blu Ray movies and 3 3D SBS MKV Films.
My question is how can i play my MKV movies on my new TV ?
can I plug a hard drive strait into the VT20 and play the MKV files on it ?
Or can i stream over Wifi ? Will this work with 3D MKV's ?
Or will i have to buy a mini display port to HDMI adapter and plug my macbook pro in to the screen and use software on my computer to play out the files ?

The samsung BD-C59000 sais it can play mkv dose that include 3D Mkv ?

Thank you.

If the file is an MKV file, it's an SBS (side by side). SBS files have the exact same make up as regular 2d MKV files, meaning you don't have to do anything different at all (however you watch 2d MKV files is how you watch 3d MKV files). The only difference is you have to switch your TV into SBS mode... which will then give you 3d. Turn your glasses on and you're off.

Thank you. And do you know if the VT20 will read MKV from an external drive formatted in NTFS or Mac OSX Journaled ?

No idea. I'm assuming there's got to be a thread about the VT20 that covers it kicking around somewhere though
