Hi gang I'm diving into the 3D pool...

After reading, researching your site for opinions/advice on what direction to go to get my projector playing 3D movies w/ some gaming I've ordered and will be putting together the following system:

BenQ 511mx (PC 3D-Ready, 1080P/60hz)
Optoma 3D-XL (with a RocketFish 1.4 HDMI cable)
PS3 (320 gig version, with Uncharted 3 game)
3D Active Shutter V.I.P. Glasses
Elite Spectrum 100' Screen
Bell HD - PVR w/3D Channels

I'd like your feed back on potential problems I may expect/experience when starting out. Or to any info on how to fast track my system to display the best possible 3D images be it movie or games...

Thank you in advance, I appreciate all feedback...

You do realize that the BenQ 511mx only accepts 1080p/60 input signals and the native output format for the BenQ 511mx is 1024x768.

Yes, you'd be much happier with a 720p 120hz 3D projector such as the ACER H5360 or the Optoma HD66. I'm not even sure how that BenQ is 3D ready with a v-sync range of "V-Sync Range: 48 - 85Hz"?

Do you already own the projector?

Yes, unfortunately I got the projector for xmas for just regular HD viewing, but once I started reading up on 3D I wanted to make it happen with this projector. I probably wouldn't have chosen this projector at all if I was starting from scratch. But I have found others using this projector and their comments were not negative, so decided to give it a go.

hxxp://www.projectorcentral.com/pdf/projector_spec_5737.pdf

If you look at the PDF spec sheet, it states that the vertical scan rate is 120 Hz.
