Hi all,

i have ripped 3d movies sbs half in .mkv format that i am trying to stream via ps3 media player and ps3. I have pioneer sc 37 as my avr. When i play it on my epson 3010 i am getting 2 split screens and not the 3d image that i should be getting. I have also tried playing it through the network storage ( Synology). Can some one please help me out or advise on it please.

Stupid question, but you are putting the Projector in 3D mode, right? And have you also tried manually changing the 3D format from auto to side by side?

According to the user manual:

3D Setup
Use this menu to adjust 3D brightness, the 3D display format and other 3D settings.

3D Format
Signal > 3D Setup > 3D Format
Use this setting to select the 3D format supported by your video device. In most cases, the
projector will correctly detect the 3D format when this option is set to Auto. You should
only select the 2D, Side by Side, or Top and Bottom formats when your projector
doesn’t properly display 3D images. See your video source documentation for
information on which mode to select.

Hi all - so I posted in the 6020 forum since I have that model, but when I choose side by side it does not combine the sides to create a proper image. Instead it seems to show only one side, and distorts the image. Any advice?

UPDATE: So I figured it out. I first have to put it in side by side mode, and THEN I have to turn on 3D. Then it works!
