I have been out of the loop since getting my Mits dlp 3d kit and 4 kit glasses. 1 pair has broken, dark lens, and I need a few more for friends.. I want to get some good ones now rechargeable maybe

What are the best 3d glasses that I can use with my system?

Are they still improving on these or is my setup getting old?

I may want a good pair for my 8 yr old also.. good kids pair?

There may be other brands, but I know the Xpand X103 and 3DG-X103 glasses are compatible with your system. Also the Samsung SS-G2100 and SS-G2200 sereis glasses. The Samsung may be harder to find since Samsung has switched to Bluetooth.

I've got 2 pair of the original Mits glasses and 2 pair of UltraClears available. I got an Epson 3010 3D projector in December and no longer use my Mits DLP for 3D and those glasses don't work with my Epson. The UltraClears perform as well or better than the Mits and are a bit more comfortable as well. They are battery powered but I actually prefer that. The batteries last a LONG time, are inexpensive and can be changed in a minute if needed. No waiting for glasses to be charged.JMHO

I'm going to you a PM with price, etc. I won't be able to respond 'til tonight, have a Dr. appointment this afternoon.

I see expand now has a 104 youuniversal .. anyone try these... read same but lighter, rechargeable, programmable, update-able, but smaller lets in more light and doesn't fit over glasses.. has anyone tried using 3d glasses over prescription glasses?

Landonsdad-Did you get the personal messages I sent you?

If you're not interested NO problem. I'm sure I can sell them quickly on ebay.

I've tried the X104s on my friend's DLP setup which is an older "3D ready" checkerboard Samsung with a hacked-up mits(?) box that came with a 3D emitter and a bunch of crummy SSGs. They work fine, better than the SSGs. The MV's also work very well, slightly better than the X104s, but you have to fight with the IR transceiver a bit if you want to mix them with IR glasses, because it overdrives the dongle.

However, I don't wear prescription glasses so I can't speak to that.
