Let's say I have two video files recorded with two cameras (left and right eye). You can assume they are aligned (angle-wise) and synced (time-wise) perfectly.

I now want to make a video that I can watch on a regular 3D TV/Projector (preferably via HDMI from my laptop).

How do I encode something like this?

Youtube, for instance, lets me upload 3D videos, you just have to put two frames side-by-side.

You can play them as they are in 3D using Stereoscopic Player from 3DTV.at
If you want to combine them into a single playable file you might try Power Director.

Did IQ's suddenly drop sharply while I was away?
I enjoy 3D in spite of HDMI 1.4!
Full screen only 3D doesn't cut it!
