I have my TV calibrated to the picture mode settings I want for 2D. I use active shutter glasses when I watch in 3D modes which, of course, dim the image and give a slight green tint.

What I'm wondering is whether my TV knows to compensate for this. If I'm, say, watching something in 2D-to-3D mode, would my TV know to make the image brighter and less green to compensate? Or should I create a separately calibrated picture mode just for 3D viewing. If so, what calibration settings would be best to compensate for the dimming/color change.

TV model: PN51E550
(Samsung 3d Plasma, active shutter)
