I have a passive lg 3d tive which supports dual view. everyone says you can just switch the lenses to 2 l/l/ r/r but when i do that it does work but there is a slight ghosting of the other player on games (black ops 2) woudl real dual view galsses get rid of this or not? also i was told that the tv would work with movietheater glasses but ones i have from a 3d movie dont work, is that normal?
Yeah, dual view is going to push your TV's ability to block the opposing views. You'll see more crosstalk in dual view than in a 3D movie or game because the player 1 and player 2 images will have a lot of differences. 3D content works well to hide crosstalk because the images are practically identical except for a tiny horizontal shift.
Your movie theater glasses might have been IMAX glasses. You need to use circular polarized glasses like those found in RealD theaters.
