I am just starting my 3D home cinema build and am in the process of choosing my fixed screen. I will be using an Onkyo TX-NR5009 as my receiver, the Epson 5020UB as my 3D projector, the sony PS3 as my 3D player and am thinking of a 120" 2.35:1 curved screen. The room that I will be using is 12'6" x 15' and was constructed as a media room with a 12" riser. The riser is 8'6" from the front wall. I plan to ceiling mount my projector. The seating in the room will accommodate 10 people.
What anamorphic lens should I get for my projector to view with a curved screen?
Where should the projector be set up (i.e., how far from front wall)?
Is a curved screen better for 3D or can I make it work with a flat?
What type of screen (i.e., size, gain, make, etc...) should I get for this room size?
Is there any thing else that I should be considering (i.e., accessories, etc...)?
Thanks for your help!!!
