I'm testing the display of 3D video files played from USB stick to my TV.

I really can't find a rule how this is working:

MVC 1080 24p 25Mbps DON'T work
MVC 720 25p 10Mbps DON'T work
MVC 576 25p 6Mbps DON'T work
SBS 1080 variable frame rate 15Mb tot DON'T work
SBS 720 variable frame rate 6Mbps (12Mbps total) DON'T work
SBS 576 50i 6Mbps (12Mbps total) WORK

Info from MediaInfo, all files in AVC .m2ts container.

The TV manual state officially support the standard video containers (mkv, avi, mp4, mts, etc) and encodings, but there are no specs about 3D formats, about USB it's written are supported only 720p and 1080p/i (not true at all).

In general can be a USB bandwidth problem? Need I to use lower bitrate? Or play from USB have some other limitations respect i.e. BD 3D? Need I to fine tune encoding parameters such as Profile, Entropy coding, etc?

The files are produced from PowerDirector 10, TV set is Samsung UE46D7000.

TV Samsung UE46D7000
BD Player Samsung BD-C5900
Camcorder Sony CX130E
NAS media Synology DS213 4TB
Video editor Cyberlink PowerDirector 12
Audio editor Acoustica Mixcraft 6

From the manual
Quote:
“Side by Side” and “Top & Bottom” are available when the resolution is
720p, 1080i and 1080p in DTV, HDMI and USB mode or when set to PC
and the PC is connected through an HDMI / DVI cable.

Looks like you want an MKV or AVI file that is top-bottom or side-by-side. It should support 720p or 1080i/p. Try some test files found here:
