I am running on hdmi 1.4 but I am unsure what else I need. I have a benq w7000 with trudepth 3d glasses. I have vlc and power dvd but can't seem to get the SBS or half SBS working. the 3d button has been enabled on the projector itself. I'm also looking to use streaming 3d content from netflix or other sources. Any idea? what file types do I need? how can i convert my blu ray discs into a usable 3d format? I have a BR burning drive and powerdvd 13. My computer is a monster with OC i5 and crossfire 6950s. I am unsure which codec to use.

Any ideas?

You should be able to play 3d blurays with PDVD13. It is not clear from you post if this is what you are trying and not succeeding.

The projector should be able to process a half side-by-side input to a s3d image (no special software needed, you play it as a 2d video); you may need to select SbS in the projector settings (it is not automatically recognized).

Netflixt 3d is not available on HTPCs, only selected LG (and Vizio?) tvs.

There are 3d threads in the more popular HTPC forum.
