I have the PS3 glasses but they're the only ones I've ever used on my Mitsubishi 73742. For those that have used the PS3 glasses, are there any others you would say are better?

Isn't your set DLP Link enabled - no need for an IR emitter? I would think any IR glasses would pale in comparison to a nice set of DLP Link glasses. Can you disable your DLP link, or do you see tinted blacks when using the PS3 glasses? I posted a vid on youtube with my set showing what happens with 3D enabled. you can see IR glasses are inferior to DLP Link glasses on these older sets.

My set gets a red tint in 3D mode that only goes away with DLP Link glasses.

This particular model comes with a built-in IR emitter, and DLP-Link can be turned off in the 3D Preferences menu. I have used the Optoma BG-ZD101 and found that they worked well, but I much prefer the image I get with the PlayStation 3 3D Glasses.
