Hi.I want to buy a new Smasung 3d tv(UN46F7500) to play games with Nvidia 3dtv Play using checkerboard, but the Brasilian models shows 3d Pixel mode(not checkerboard)with almost the same definition as checkerboard(definitions taken from User manual):

Checkerboard:Displays the images for the left and right eye alternately in pixels.(65C7000)

Pixel:Switches between left and right images one pixel at a time. This mode is not supported
on the UHD F9000 and S9 Series models.(UN46F7500)

Are they the same?.Thank you very much for any help.

Link to the user manual(manual do usuario)with option for English(Inglês):

I am quite sure this ("Pixel" 3D mode) is checkerboard. The icon and input requirements are the same as for checkerboard on my P50C490.

Yes,you're right. The icons are just the same. But today I had a chat with Sunsung online support and got these informations:
Serena(Samsung attendant): Not exactly same, The checker board displays the images for the left and right eye alternately in pixels. Where as pixel mode switches between left and right images one pixel at a time.
That's was the information I got.Pretty much the same as the tv user manual. Thanks Roussi.Although I felt the attendant not so sure about what she said.

This (what the attendant said) doesn't make any sense. I wonder, if it is the same, why they changed the terminology. Different subcontractor for the translation? Not sufficiently interested to look at other Samsung tv manuals for a clue.

Yeah, what she said doesn't explain nothing.I continue with my doubt.I think I'll try to find a 2010 model which is pretty clean about checkerboard mode.I just lost the chance to buy a 2013 Samsung 3d tv 46F7500 that was on offer at a regional site because of this doubt.Thank you Roussi.

I didn't mean to post that reply, i wasn't finished at all. I meant to post a response on the 3D Vision forums. Its me, Libertine. But doesn't the ES7500 and Es8000 have it in Brazil? I know the 6500 doesn't. My ES7500 doesn't use the word checkerboard at all FYI.

Hi Libertine. As far as I know in Brazil there are The F7500 and F8000 led models, which have the Pixel mode. There is no ES7500 of ES8000 models.I just knew a guy who has the 2012 PL51E8000 and I read Its manual where described this:
"Displays the images for the left and right eye alternately in pixels.Only for led models"(link to the manual= http://www.samsung.com/br/support/model/PL51E8000GGXZD-downloads).
Then I presume led 2012 has the checkerboard mode.I will do further research.Thanks.

Solved.I took my pc to a local store and the seller let me test the tv(Smart led 3d tv Samsung 46F7500).I selected checkerboard mode on Nvidia control panel(Nvidia 3dtv Play) and renamed HDMI 1 in the tv to PC.Run a game and selected 3d Pixel mode and the game started in checkerboard 3d.I have to swap L/R on the tv to get the right image though. Thanks everybody for all the help.
