Recently I purchased a Sharp 80" Q+ set that has a outstanding picture and the 3D effect is wonderful. But to be honest I'm not really crazy about the 3D Glasses due to how they fit and the lens seem small to me.mad.gif

The glasses are AN-3DG40, so my question is does any one use Active Shutter Glasses for this set (or any other that might work) and would recommend something better? rolleyes.gif

Regardless if the other glasses are $100 my main concern is to get something that has better feel to them and that the lens are larger for the best 3D effect.. I could really use some help out there from those of you who enjoy watching films in 3D.

Can't offer any help from experience, but someone mentioned Ultimate 3D Heaven as a place to get glasses at. I just bought a Sharp LC70SQ15U and need to get some 3D glasses as well....my Sharp doesn't come with any and I've never owned a 3D set before, so I'm looking for some help too.

I'll follow this thread to see what turns up.

And fwiw, my set doesn't arrive until Tuesday so I can't buy anything and try them out to let you know my thoughts yet...
