Unhappy What is Optoma doing on 3D glass/emitter?

I have got a HD25E package recently with BC300 emitter and two pair of ZF2300 glasses. Yesterday, I have also got two pair of ZF2100 glasses. But then, I found ZF2100 is not going to work with BC300 emitter, and I have to use BC100 emitter to get Zf2100 work. okay, now I am stuck, I can never watch a movie to mix ZF2100 and ZF2300 glasses.

I have seen there are some discussion in this forum about Optoma 3D glasses. Anyone has a clue, what happened? I just like to understand..

I don't think anyone really knows at this point. Optoma's website says the ZF2300 glasses must be used with the BC300 emitter and are not backwards-compatible. That's all.

You may want to consider contacting Optoma or Bit Cauldron (the actual manufacturer) with your question. Bit Cauldron has helped me in the past, so they may be a good source if Optoma doesn't respond.

I called Optoma, the only answer they gave to me is that ZF2100/BC100 and ZF2300/BC300 are not interchangable.

My friend has the ZF2100 and wonders if the ZF2300 does constitute an improvement?

I still have the old "Ray-Ban" Optoma / Bit Cauldron glasses from 2011 (and managed to increase brightness by finally re-installing one of my old glass beaded screens).

But soon I will need RF 3D glasses for my youngest son. Does anybody have an idea where to get children-suitable 3D glasses?

P.S. Never mind, looks like the RF 3D glasses for kids by 3DTV Corp. are the most promising ones and just came out last December (no customer reviews, yet).

But there is some interesting information: "(Neither these nor any others are compatible with Optoma BC300 RF Emitter and ZF2300 glasses)"

Thus, if you have smaller children, you should not go for the BC300 RF emitter and the ZF2300 glasses, as you apparently won't be able to later purchase 3D glasses to fit your youngest.
