Optoma RF 3D glasses work with Epson 3100?

Hi,

I just replaced my dying Optoma HD33 with an Epson 3100. I was hoping that my Optoma glasses that I used with an RF emitter would work with the Epson projector but no luck so far. I have tried turning on 3D content on the Epson and holding down the pairing button on the glasses. Is there any trick or are they just not compatible?

Thanks!

Not compatible. Need the Bluetooth glasses from Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Epson and others. They all should work but I think they are hard to find now since the TV manufacturers stopped making 3D tvs. They aren't cheap anymore. Actually got a couple of new Epson glasses that came with the 3020 projector I just bought. I haven't tried them yet since I'm happy with the LG ones I have which I was using with the Epson 2000 projector. Bought a whole bunch when they were clearing them out.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Think I'm going to get some of the Samsung 5100gb glasses and try them out.

Fron Epson's official website

Which 3D glasses can I use with my Epson RF 3D product?
  • We recommend you use the Epson RF 3D active shutter glasses with your product. They are optimized for Full-HD 3D quality with Epson projectors. However, you can also use Epson-compatible RF 3D active shutter glasses with Full-HD RF 3D certification.
Note: Epson does not guarantee the performance of Epson-compatible RF 3D active shutter glasses. Epson also does not guarantee the compatibility of the Epson RF 3D active shutter glasses with computers or other devices.
What's that name ? "Full-HD 3D RF". Is this some kind of standard I missed ?

Epson EPSV12H548006 - these should work

I ordered these from Best Buy today for my 5040UB - normally $99 most sites but like $64 on amazon and Best Buy. I suspect they are trying to clean out stock
