Ok so i want to get the Sony sound bar HT-CT100. I have measured it and if I place it on my LCD tv's pedestal, it will block the IR sensor. I have a Toshiba Regza 42" 1080p HDTV. Should I just put the sound bar on the tv stand on the first shelf? Also please don't suggest mounting everything on the wall because I can't. Any suggestions on what I can do here? Thanks.

i know the ct-100 has its own thread so they may have a better answer but as long as the bar is on the ledge and not enclosed i would think your fine
