What criteria is important when it comes to soundbar performance? In addition to power output, what should I be looking for....signal to noise ratio, digital/analog conversion, dynamic range? I realize features are important, but I'm trying to focus on performance criteria. Your help is greatly appreciated!
+1... Passive sound bars are the only way to go unless you are looking for cheap and just want a lil better sound than tv speakers.
Never heard it but the BIC America Formula FH65-BAR is the most impressive looking from the size and type of drivers and stated freq resp. Add a good receiver with Audyssey and I bet this thing would sound pretty good. Not nearly as good as an actual surround sound tho.
I have the BIC Acoustech Speakers and they use the same drivers as this bar but I do have the speakers with the 8" woofers but they make them with the 6.5" woofers as well. I love the sound of what I have.
***Droid I just realized your the one with the BIC bar and started the official thread on it.
