I am looking for a soundbar to go with the 40" TV in the great room in a cabin. The requirements are:

- Wireless Subwoofer
- Bluetooth streaming in for wireless connection to ipods, ipads
- HMDI in for sound from TV and for streaming mp3's from Droid
- The ability to really give me some BOOM in a pretty big room (I do have the ability to mount the sub up high)

I was looking at the sound bars by SamSung, but I don't know if they provide enough boom.

From what I've seen, I'm tempted about buying a traditional two channel stereo receiver and adding bluetooth to it with a dongle, but I really like the idea of mounting just a sound bar under the TV which is a wall mount for a minimalist installation.

The Samsung 550 may be the only bar that meets ALL of your requirements. The LG soundbars and the BA TVEE30 have Bluetooth, but they don't have HDMI input (unless I'm really mistaken).

If Bluetooth isn't a deal-breaker for you, look at the Sony 550W as well.

The hdmi input is not an absolute. Any connection from which I can get a decent signal from my tv receiver to the sound bar will do. Admittedly, I need to do some more research on my tv to see what audio encoding is supported on the various outputs. The tv is HDTV OTA only.
