Yes I was scammed into purchasing one so I made a video of its internals for others not to be ripped off. http://youtu.be/OXmQvDHbIsU

Yes, my dad bought the wireless soundbar for really cheap. It works much better than my sony surround system, and I was shocked to see reports online of people getting ripped off!? Mine works perfectly fine, and it took me 2 minutes to set up!

Beware a commenter who creates a profile for the sole purpose of praising a white van speaker...

I just got a Madrid Audio V2 receiver and speakers off craigslist for $50.
The seller claimed it was a $375 system.

I figured it didn't matter because I really just wanted a decent subwoofer for my apartment.

I tested it at the seller's home and it seemed ok. I set it up at home and it actually sounds pretty good. Definitely not a 2000 watt system like it claims lol. If I had to guess, probably 300-400 watts.

I hooked up 5.1 speakers and when I crank it up all the way it gets loud enough to party to in my small apartment.

The connections on the back are pretty much just a 3.5' audio jack you can hook up your mp3 player or phone to, a left and right analog aux plugs, 6 surround analog input plugs (i don't know of any device that would use this) and the basic twist type output connectors for the speakers.
The picture of the box says something about an HDMI cable but there is no HDMI input or output lol.

If you can get one for $50, or even $100, I think it's worth it.
I don't know how long it will last, but for now, I like it.
