Have you tried contacting Philips? There should be a contact number in your manual. That being said, when Philips Audio was acquired by the Korean firm, WOOX, and then passed along to Gibson Brands, contacting them, for me, became arduous.

Barring an electronics problem with the soundbar, your connection, somehow, is not passing along the 5.1 information to the 9100. (which is reproduced in 4.1 by your soundbar)

It ain't right.

i have just bought one of these and am very impressed with it

however, im having trouble connecting my panasonic bd60 to it (yes its an older bd player, but it was a top one at the time)

when i plug the bd direct to the tv all is fine, however when i plug it into the htl9100 i get no signal.

i have tried my mother inlaws sony bds3500 on the soundbar and that works fine also

the panasonic display shows that it detects a hdmi connection but i get nothing from the soundbar (no sound in the speakers and "no signal" displayed on the tv).

i have tried resetting the panasonic bd to factory settings to no avail

any clues?

Hi All, I've recently got one of these units from a friend but noticed that the centre channel (the main unit) does not output any sound when in surround sound mode i.e. when the wireless speakers are detached and when the speakers are attached, there is a soft high pitch buzz coming from the centre and the Left and Right channels are very soft, barely any mid range and not very audible. I assume because they are just adding to the sound that should be produced by the centre. Contacting Phillips support has been a complete waste, and wonder if anyone has had that experience and fixed it? I've tried connecting through HDMI (ARC), RCA, Optical, Line In... all with the same result so I'm pretty sure its the unit that has/is failing and not the connection. Anyone had any luck in repairing these? Also it seems the battery in the Left speaker can hardly hold its own, after 1hr30mins, the battery indicator turns red, can they even be changed?
