Should I get this soundbar?

Just purchased the 50" Vizio M Series.

Is this a waste of $70?

If I get a soundbar I don't want to spend a lot of money so I'd like to find a good deal/clearance on a good one!

If you carefully read the Amazon reviews, the people who are more thoughtful in their criticism, and seem to know more about sound quality, are not that enthusiastic.

How much do you want to spend?

Thanks, I was just reading those. Well I didn't want to spend too much, preferably $100 or so, unless I can get a much better one for a few dollars more. Maybe I could find a clearance model or open box if I know what to look for...
I mainly watch sports, but this is for our living room TV so it's also for sitcoms, kid shows, etc...

I recommend a Vizio S3821W which will give you great sound and match your set.

If you live in an apartment and might not get away with a subwoofer (even a small one) here is the same bar minus the sub in the Vizio S3820w. Unlike other soundbars it doesnt sound attrocious without a subwoofer.

These are both highly reviewed (both professionally & by consumer) soundbars.

Good Luck

I just picked up the Vizio M422i and will be getting one of these soundbars.

Samsung 51F8500 Plasma / Vizio VP322 Plasma / Vizio GV42LF LCD / Denon 2200 Silicon Image DVD / Panasonic S97 Faroudja Genesis DVD / Oppo 970HD Mediatek DVD / Oppo 983H Anchor Bay DVD / Panasonic LX-600 Laserdisc / Aiwa MX100 Multi-region VCR / JVC S7600 S-VHS / PS2 / Roku 2 XS & HD-XR / Realistic STA-90 Reciever / Realistic Minimus 7 / Antennacraft G1483 Hoverman / Belden 7915A RG6 / Channel Master 7777 Titan 2 UHF/VHF / Panasonic AX-200u / Optoma Graywolf 92" / Draper Luma 92"

Thanks, pretty good price too! I've also seen brackets to mount these to the TV. My TV is hanging in a corner, so I'd want to attach this directly to the TV/mount.

The reviews on this seem to be really good, just need to decide if I really need it...
I have a house, so the subwoofer isn't a problem.

How much do you think I can get the cords and remote for? This listing is only for the soundbar and sub. Deal or no deal?
