Soundbar setups for bedrooms

Curious which recommendations you guys give for those of us adding a 5.1 soundbar experience to our bedrooms, particularly when it comes to the rear speakers and the subwoofer and ability to slide under the bed or next to it, etc. Most are marketed to the living room so perhaps there are some more geared for bedroom use. Thanks!

For a sub that slides under the bed, I think you're looking at the new Vizios with the slim sub. Rear surrounds plug into the sub and should sit nicely on the nightstands.

Yeah the new Vizio slims would be good to slide under the bed. I personally have an Older 40" SB4051-c0 in my bedroom and the sub sits next to the bed and the rears sit on the nightstands. The bar itself it on a shelf right below the tv and swivels with the tv as well. basically have one of those tv stands with the mounting hardware attached to the base with a shelf below the tv for a speaker. Desk sits next to the tv stand hence why its on a swivel.

One can always look at ysp2200 and a sub, or any of the ysp's. They work great, even look at a used one ie..ysp-1000, ysp-4000, they are still better than most anything out there

IMO

I recommend you take look at the CNET reviews on sound bars maybe one with build in woofer. If you look at the best sound bar of 2016 you will find underrated brands at an affordable price.
