I am going to try to make a BluRay disc with a menu that let's you select a standard HD version and a 3D version.
When the 3D version is selected I think it should bring up a message that explains how to set the TV for proper display.

Obviously I will have to encode the disc with both the standard HD version and the side by side version.

Time to find some good 3D videos in my library.....

Nice work! At the rate the film studios are going you could become the world's leading supplier of 3D content!

Sporry...I said that my security software did find the threat...so I never opened any of the files...

I use Norton 360 and have never been attacked by a virus or spyware...now I have probably jinxed myself...

Threats found: 1
Here is a complete list:

Threat Name: W32.Spyrat

I had several people download those files and check them for viruses and spyware and nobody found anything.
I wonder if it somehow can get attached during the transport between servers....
Anyway, for those interested and willing to take a chance I am about to post a link to a video I shot that I think is quite visually interesting.

I believe so.
I am going to put all the homemade videos I have uploaded so far into an ISO file that you can burn to a standard DVD that will play in any BluRay player.
Should have it done by tomorrow.

Your videos look fantastic!! You need to start releasing 30 min vids each week so I can have some good content to show off to friends!

They all look fantastic. The only one I had a little trouble with eye strain on was the Duluth Harbor video. When you zoomed in on the tanker it was really difficult to watch for some reason. I noticed the 2 images were so far apart, and maybe that was why. Otherwise all of the footage was so easy on the eyes. The depth is just incredible. It was like looking thru my theater screen and seeing what you were seeing standing there. Im sure Discovery 3D will be amazing when it starts.

How are you watching this? Do you have a projector? It looks like from the screen shoots that you have a projector projecting onto a big screen.

Incredible theater you have there.

Here is a link to a 3DHD DVD image which can be burned to a DVD which will play on a BluRay player in side by side format. You just have to manually set the 3DTV into that format.

I tried opening this with WinRAR and there seems to be nothing in it. Tried mounting with Daemon Tools and the disk is empty. Does it work for anyone?

Yes it worked for me. I just burned the .iso file to a dvd. After that I could browse the folders to find the individual video files.

Most of the ones included in this .iso file are the same ones posted at the top in individual files.

All you have to do is burn the dvd image (iso) and pop it in your PS3, then set your 3D tv for side by side and off you go .
