I was just scrolling ahead on Directv and noticed a new program starting on Wednesday at 8pm Eastern. The listing states:

Rediscover the tombs of the great pharaoh's of Egypt, while examining the mummification process and it's role in ancient society.

And here I thought there would not be any new programs between the All Star game and the X games on Directv.

Enjoy.

D* have changed the name of the program in the Guide to Mummies:Secrets of the Pharohs. The description remains the same.

I just watched it and rate it one of the best shows so far. It is a decent documentary and the PQ is much better than some of the other Freebees, excluding, of course, the World Cup.

I sat down to watch this last night in great anticipation only to be getting a split screen image and no 3D signal. Wasn't sure what happened. Anyone else get this? My settings on my tv hadn't changed since watching the All-star game the night before.

I got this also. I solved it by going into the menu on my TCP65V25 and changing the 3D settings from "Auto" to Side by Side. Then it worked. However, when I tried to switch channels to a normal station, it was still trying to render a 3D and I had to go back to the menu and switch the 3Dsettings back to "Auto"

With my Mits 73735 I too had to change the 3D mode on the adapter. All then worked well.

I just watched it -- first class production. I experienced no technical problem: HR24 -> Pioneer 1.4a AVR -> Samsung pn58c8000.
