Hi... I'm trying to play a few different files on my Samsung 3DTV and one MKV file in particular is showing as 1280x1440 and it won't play at all on the media player built into my TV.

i tried using MKV2VOB to convert to an acceptable format, but now it's telling me resolution not supported. Any suggestions as to what would be an acceptable format as all attempts thus far have failed.

Thanks, Pete

I also have some 3D trailers in 3840 x 1080 that will not play on my Samsung. I have several conversion programs but the video conversion always comes out with a poor aspect ratio. Anyone know how to best to convert a 3840 x 1080 to 1920x1080?

You can try SUPER. Should be able to convert just about any video with that.
