Just finished. Excellent image quality, and AWESOME 3D effect! Some great bass effect in the opening scene! And a decent story too!

Overall, one of the most enjoyable 3D flick!

regards,

just received notice, it's on it's way to me. Let me know who/where it goes when I'm done. I'll post up once I receive it, I'll be out of town this weekend (Fri-Sunday) so I hope to get it turned around before I leave if I receive it in time.

I placed my order for "Bolt" from AmazonUK on 12/24.
At that time the site did not say it was PAL format & now it does.
Looks like I should of not listen to this thread & bought the Chinese one?

It is not PAL format. Your good to go.

Disney announced they'll be releasing this on 3D bluray sometime this year. Instead of ordering it from Europe I'll just wait for it to be in stores. Disney might even offer their $5 coupon like they've offered on their other bluray movies like Toy Story and such

My family finally got all together to watch Bolt 3D last night, I really enjoyed it and the 3D was fantastic, not alot of pop out, but the depth was great.

thanks for sharing this movie with the AVS community. I'll be sending it out to the next person today.

thanks again.

I realize this thread is somewhat old and relates mostly to the imported versions of this movie but I received the U.S. Version as part of my Sony promotional package and it had a ton of cross talk in it, more than most other movies. I am using my ps3 and Sony NX810 as the sources. Anyone else with the U.S. version getting the same results?

I wonder what they could have changed from the EU version to the US version.

Yup, added you to the list. You'll probably like it. Most of the people who have watched it so far have liked it.

If anybody want to watch Bolt 3D then PM me and I'll add you to the list. It's currently in Ohio.

Finally watched this movie, and while it was good, the cross-talk on my TV was pretty bad. The 3D is really aggressive and so it produces a lot of ghosting. With that said, there are some really good 3D scenes with little or no ghosting.

My TV is a Samsung UN55C7000 and Sony BDP-S770 blue-ray player.

I was on palmeiro's list and I just sent it out to the next person. Thanks palmeiro - you're the best!

old thread, but seeing that this isnt released in US yet, i'll add the following:

Im fairly certain that ALL 3d blu rays to this point are REGION FREE. They have decided to not put the region lock for 3D blu rays. (lets hope it stays that way) Disney are notrious for locking their blu rays to this point, which brings me to the next part:

People have commented on the region coding specs for the UK version of Bolt 3D. What this is only refering to the 2D blu ray included on a separate disc.

The 2D disc is locked to region B so it wont work on US blu ray players.

However the 3D blu ray disc will work on any player.

hope this clears things up!

If this is true, then this is awesome! I was actually looking into which BD 3D movie's were listed as region free today, so seeing this post made my day

This will come in handy for future 3D releases outside the US. Such as Cars 2 which has been announced for France (not sure if it will be an exclusive or in a bundle in the US) and for region exclusive movies that I can order off of Amazon.uk
