Sounds like a mistake to me. Just a pair of glasses alone costs more than $200.

The new Panny glasses have an MSRP of $179.00 I believe. I picked up a pair of medium for my wife for $145.

Seems to me the guy at BB read it wrong, probably isn't the starter kit, sounds like the single rechargeable price and they will have four single pairs in stock tomorrow? Come on 199.99, 2 pairs of ASG and includes Avatar? I'm saying mistake unless this is part of the December 1st release plan? Unless Panasonic leaked the starter kits early on purpose considering the BB by me until this past Saturday had three sets "For Sale" for at least the last two and a half weeks, people buy them up with Panasonic knowing they would pop up on eBay almost immediately and at a ridiculously crazy price. so now they come from behind sneak attack style @199.99 this may just work on Panasonic's behalf if the price is actually 199.99 for the Set and if that is your plan?

Here in Canada the msrp for panasonics new glasses is $99, so it makes sense the bundle would be double that. I picked up 4 pairs, 1 small and 3 mediums for $88 each. Overall a much better feel than the original glasses but still they need work.

No he brought the box out and scanned it and I was right there.

Hoping it's not a mistake because I will gladly fork over $200 and sell those glasses easy on Amazon

I just checked the Best Buy website and they're still listing it as 399. I would've recorded that conversation and used it to argue for getting it for 199 lol

Here's the link at Best Buy:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Panasoni...&skuId=1534391

It's live for sale at Amazon now. At least you save sales tax.

http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-TY-E...d=PMOF39IPMI3O

Given the idiotic exclusivity length, what's to stop customers from buying the kit at BB, watching the movie, and then returning the kit? Sounds like a free rental to me. Of course, then BB's inventory will be out in the hands of renters rather than true buyers of the kit.

This kind'a backfires on Cameron and Panasonic.

I'm sure the disc is wrapped separately from the glasses in the kit. So if the shrink wrap on the disc is opened, BB won't accept it back.

My question about this kit is regarding the glasses. Are they the large or medium glasses. I have seen it listed as both.

LivingRoom: XBR-65X900B / Oppo BDP103D / Pioneer Elite SC35 / REL T7 / HDP2500 / Def Tech Mythos Ones x 4, Eight, 2x Gem XL / PS4 / Xbox One / Wii U
Bedroom: 65ZT60 / Oppo BDP93 / Apple TV / PS3
Office: KRP-500M / Xbox 360

Yup $399 today.

Like I said yesterday the item was not listed as being available to sell yesterday so obviously the system was not showing the correct price when he scanned it.
