Thoughts? Didn't hear much about this movie while it was in the theatre but it looks like it was shot in native 3d.

There is a 3D trailer available on Vudu and it looked OK.

It's well shot with good depth and plenty of off-the-screen gimmicks. It's not a great movie but it is fun if you don't take it seriously. Worth a rental at least if you like action/horror.

I saw this at the theater. I rather enjoyed the movie. Good action popcorn flick. The 3D was very well done, depth and some popout moments. For the price Amazon has this, it is worth a blind buy.

I enjoyed sanctum alot, and found the 3d to be well done. Drive angry is worth one watch and it had decent 3d

Thoroughly enjoyed Sanctum in the theater. Great 3D, ok to good story. Havnt seen Drive Angry, but i imagine its like a Death Proof kind of film, but in 3D.

I saw it in the theaters and I'll agree with some of the above posters. It's not a good movie by any means, but as long as a movie is entertaining to me, I enjoy it hehe. If you're looking for a deep well thought out movie, don't get it. If you're looking for just a nonsensical crazy fun movie in 3D, go for it. It's got a particularly funny and ridiculous scene in a hotel room with a girl. I'll leave it there lol

There aren't any really spectacular 3D pop scenes, but the depth is good. I think the main pop I remember were explosions of various types throwing stuff at you.

I'll be buying it.

I'll go on record and say I thoroughly enjoyed it. The movie is pretty decent if you don't take it too seriously and the 3D was a good mix of depth and popout effects. This might actually be the first movie since Avatar that's worth rewatching with friends...

As I told my sister and her boyfriend the other night about Drive Angry, "Check your brain at the door, grab some beer, and enjoy the ride!" Think that about sums it up.

Currently testing 3D with Sammy DLP, shutter glasses, and HTPC

hello,
I saw the film drive angry 3d,
the 3D effect is very nice, but I found it a little stressful for the eyes ..
for example, resident evil afterlife 3d was much more natural and normal for the eyes.
Who has seen the film had the same impression?

^ I saw this and enjoyed the movie, thought 3D made it more enjoyable. I only remember have a bit eye fatigue at the start until I adjusted to it.

^ I also saw this movie recently and I didn't experience any stress on my eyes while using active 3D Samsung glasses. The movie was shot in native 3D indeed.

Bought it last year. Thought it was a fun movie and funnier if you get the inside jokes! 3D is very good. Not too heavy on the SciFi but enough for some special effects.
Viewed on DLP projector/DLP glasses - no eyestrain

Edit: This is NOTHING like Death Proof! haha

Watched this again with my nephew who has been in prison for 10yrs. This has some of the best 3d around. The movie itself would kind of suck though if not in 3d. It was fun giving my nephew crap when he pulls up to the prison in the end.

I'm sure he found it just as entertaining
