So I'm all excited to take delivery on my new Epson 3010...I was happy to see that the PQ with ambient light looked as good as my Mitsubishi 4900 did in a darker environment, and the PQ on the Epson in the dark was fantastic. Unfortunately when I tried to watch Cars 2 in 3D via DirecTV Cinema (streaming), I got a message saying, "This program is in 1080p/24. Your 3D tv does not support this resolution." I put on a BD of Batman Begins and it looked beautiful, but for some reason the DTV signal did not work properly.

I called Epson and they weren't of much help, they just gave me a reference number and told me to keep trying different sources. So that's what I'll do, but was hoping maybe someone else had some feedback in the meantime?

Looks like it may be a false alarm...DTV now says they're having tech issues with this movie, so hopefully nothing to worry about...I'll report back as soon as I verify one way or the other.

I think I had to change my output to 1080i or I was getting the same message on some 3D content.
