Next year 2012 will be the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic. I was wondering if James Cameron is planning to release a 3D Blu-Ray version of his 3D IMAX Titanic documentary film Ghosts of the Abyss?

It would be a nice complement to his 2D-3D conversion of the theatrical film. Haven't heard any news about this though.

I know a 3D DVD import of Ghosts of the Abyss exists. I have been unable to find it anywhere.

It was ColorCode anaglyph 3D with yellow/blue glasses. I have a copy. Is it worth anything?

GOTA was a limited edition release from Japan. Mine came with a 2D and 3D version.

It was everything I've come to expect from the anaglyph ColorCode 3-D format.

thanks for the heads up, I was hoping this would make it to 3D BD. I saw it years ago on a huge imax screen and thought it was great.

I remember being blown away by the sheer scale of the Bow on the Imax screen, it was absolutely enormous!

Looking forward to picking this one up, at the moment I only have the same Japanese inport that Josh Z has and it's very hit and miss in my opinion, certainly nothing like the experience I had at Imax.
