This, to me, was the first great 3D movie. I really hope it is rereleased in 3D.

I agree. I'm really surprised that it has not made it to 3D Bluray as yet.

This is a movie that would probably look great in 3D!

Me too. Only saw in 2D but some scenes in it looked like they could have been great in 3D

I'm surprised Robert Zemeckis hasn't jumped at the opportunity to re-release this on Blu-ray 3D. After all, the theatrical 3D release was hyped to the max even before the film was even completed.

I searched everywhere but could not find any contact info for Mr. Zemeckis. If we had a way to contact him perhaps we could start a petition or something.

Oh good up for trying! Yea that's not a bad idea. Hopefully he will decide to get it goin on his own. You would think with all the conversions of older movies here recently he would want to get on it.

After reading all the positive comments and watching the trailer, I would love to see this on blu-ray 3D. My fist experience with 3D was Avatar, and I was completely oblivious of Beowulf when it was released in theaters. Unfortunately, we probably won't see it until someone decides to film a Beowulf re-make.

Paramount released the 2D blu-ray, so maybe they would be the best people to contact in regards to the possibility of a BD3D release.
