The rear cover artwork on Amazon states the 3-D version requires a 3-D TV, 3-D player, compatible glasses and high speed HDMI cable....I think it's safe to say it will be a Blu-ray 3D version.
I wish they would include at least a reversible cover with the original title, but oh well. Apparently people got much dumber in the last 33 years and now can't understand the JAWS 3-D title! (it's not Jaws 3 or Jaws 3 in 3-D...it's JAWS 3-D!) I've heard that even the flat version in the recent 3 pack of the sequels has reverted to the proper JAWS 3-D title card in the opening credits. Earlier 3-D video versions had altered the on screen title to read JAWS III.
This actually aired on CBS once (as JAWS III) and they edited all the 3-D gimmick shots out! I've caught parts of it on cable over the years and they were still there.
Anyway, I'm glad I will finally be able to retire my field sequential 3-D version after 25 years. The recent JAWS 3-D DCP was a lot of fun to see at the 2013 World Expo III; it looked better than the film did in theaters in 1983 even though there were a few alignment issues they could have easily fixed but didn't.
