I keep checking on bestbuy.com and still do not see transformers 3 3d listed on there. Am I crazy to think that maybe they are holding out because they have a special edition that they will be announcing in this weekends ad?

Amazon has the preorder up since the announcement. Why would you keep checking at Bestbuy?

I only check bestbuy because I have 25 dollar gift card I need to get rid of. No doubt I could spend it on something else but I keep checking it to see how it would compare price wise to amazon and Walmart and the fact that it's not up yet even though just about every other site does is what made me question if they are getting a special edition, like they did with the original blue ray release even though it was just a different slipcover. Also I realize it isn't out yet but lots of movies show up on bestbuy well in advance.

Why the hell would amazon have this initially priced at $55!?!? Is it just to make me feel like $30 is a deal? Cuz it ain't.

That movie was horrible, why would you be so anxious about buying it?

It was better than the second one, and the final 45 minute Chicago sequence should have some nice 3D content. But it's no cinema classic.

Exactly. I don't think it's a cinema masterpiece by any means but I imagine it'd be an experience to watch in 3d. Ill say this though, I'd rather sit through that than avatar.

This is typical MSRP for 3d bluray nothing new. Check IMAX Under The Sea msrp of $45. Nobody would pay this much.

Personally, I found all 3 films to be utter garbage. Really, it gets to the point that you can't even discern one piece of metal from the other. It's just gears, explosions, etc...but preceded by silly, childish "humor" and negligible (and boring) "plot" points to get from action scene to action scene. That said, I will be renting the 3D disc because seeing the elaborate ILM effects in the 3D format would be a guilty pleasure. (hell, I suffered through YOGI BEAR solely because it was in 3D...the TV just gets hungry sometimes.)

Why do you even care about someone else buying something?

I'll never understand people coming into threads for something they dislike, just to insult others. Sad.

Why do you care about someone who cares about what someone else is buying Just kiddin!

But seriously , people just like to share their opinions. You can not start a thread and think that everyone that post in that thread will share the exact same opinion.

The 2d disc is one of the most entertaining HT rides I have experienced and the 3d should take it to the next level!

JVC 3D: Been there, done that, bought a DLP

Agreed the sound and 2dpq alone make it worth it, with the 3D making it that much more enticing, For a 3D and sound showpiece this is hard to beat.

And yes I did see it in 3D in the theaters

I see. I was gonna order it from Amazon but decided to rent from 3DB instead.

Thanks for the heads-up. I've also been hoarding a BB gift card for Transfomers 3 3D, TinTIn 3D and Hugo 3D.

That's because I ordered it from Amazon for $29.99. Of course, with tax charged by BB it's pretty close to the same.........
