Hey guys, been working on a few new movies. One coming out in a few months is called "Huistenbosch 3D"

Huistenbosch is a large Dutch village located in Nagasaki Japan. On New Years my wife and I went there for 2 nights and I filmed everything in 3D.
There will be 2 versions of this movie, one for active shutter 3D sets and one for passive and Sony's HMD.
The reason for this is I filmed using a base extender to add more depth then edited with software to add even more depth. My experience "owning all 3 sets listed above" is that active TV's couldn't produce the extreme depth like passive TV's and the HMD can. Active sets produced so much ghosting that it was unwatchable.

So the active version will be specially made for active sets to look good, and the passive and HMD version will be made for them. However the passive and HMD version will feature much more extreme depth than active.

Anyways, here is a downloadable demo for passive and HMD owners to watch. This demo shows a few scenes "unedited" just to show how much amazing depth can be achieved. On my LG 55inch passive TV it looks amazing and on my Sony HMZ-T1 I feel like I am there looking out.

Active users are welcome to download also, but be warned it may look horrible.

Enjoy!

Download and burn using IMG burn, then watch.

3D items I own:

Sony 46" LX900 active 3D set

Sony HMZ-T3 (Cushion pads and light blocker mod)

LG LW6500 passive 3D set

PS3 & PS4

Sony BDP-S570 BD3D player

JVC-GS-TD1 (with Cyclopital base extender)

Fujifilm W3

Sony Alpha 55 (for 3D panoramic photos)

Quadcopter + Zenmuse and GoPro Hero 3 (Filming...

Its not a bad idea since youtube compresses the video so much. Clarity is key for realistic 3D imo. Its also a fast connection FYI, 1.2mb/sec on my connection. Although how to get it onto the TV. Do you have to use a blu-ray burner?

Won't be on Youtube for quite some time. Youtube ruins the quality and this is for passive TV's not PC screens. Even if you watched Youtube on a passive set it would look bad.

Yes, you need to burn the ISO to a Bluray disc and then it plays just as a normal 3DBD would.

Compression isn't a huge issue for me. It's better than nothing. Or you could make a sbs mkv. Otherwise you're limiting your potential audience.

Not to worried at the moment, movie won't be out till around June or July anyways. Usually before I release I make a Youtube video so once the movies done I'll post one.

At the moment this is just a test demo to show off how passive sets and the Sony HMZ can handle the extreme depth I am using.

3D items I own:

Sony 46" LX900 active 3D set

Sony HMZ-T3 (Cushion pads and light blocker mod)

The shot at 4:05 is my favorite. I'm glad you let it go for a while. I also liked the flowers towards the beginning- they felt true to scale and like they were being held right up to my nose.
