The same is true for any: Uverse, DirecTV, DISH, Comcast, Vudu, Apple, Amazon whomever... None are the equivalent of Blu-ray. Just not practical to do so.

It is possible, but not practical; so providers haven't done so due to bandwidth to get the bit rate needed to achieve such quality.

Mow, fertilize, and properly water the grass and it will grow a nice deep green!

OnDemand for UVerse is a little better than the normal 5.25 to 6.5meg stream for normal viewing. I would say that it is between DVD & BD quality. That is why I usually will watch stuff on Amazon OnDemand. Cheaper prices and better quality for OnDemand stuff, or just rent the BD from Netflix.

I doubt it's possible for several reason including can the AT&T Uverse box decode frame packed info? So it's limited to half resolution per eye.
