I just entered into the world of 3D at home and have some questions before adding these 2 channels to my Comcast package sp that I can watch their On Demand movies as part of the subscription.

How often are new films added to HBO 3D OD and Starz 3D OD? There are 6-7 movies available now on each of these premium channels according to the program guide.

As HBO (and maybe Starz as well) crops their hd movies, are the 3D movies shown in original aspect ratio or cropped also?

Farewell Voom. Farewell Directv. Farewell Bell Express Vu. Farewell Dish, Farewell Comcast.
Had 6 dishes, now none. Just streaming.
Back in the early days, there were just HD demo loops, no programming. Now HD 3D and 4k.

HBO and STARZ don't add 3D very often. Starz films are generally OAR in 3D, but HBO crops EVERYTHING all the exceptions. I know DOLPHIN TALE is premiering on HBO this weekend, so the 3D version should be added sometime next wee, while Starz has just added 2009's BATTLE FOR TERRA..
