Hey guys.I posted this question in another section but think it it would go better here. I just ordered a pair of Optoma BG-ZD101glasses for my viewsonic pjd6211 projector and I need to know how i can watch some 3D stuff with this projector that doesn't involve nVidia 3D vision, for at least right now. I was going to use iz3d drivers but they have gone out of business and will not offer the use of their drivers anymore soon.
I wlll eventually get 3D vision after i have upgraded to window 7 but right now i only have XP and I need to find away to at least watch some 2d movies up converted to 3D. What i really want is a way to play some games in 3D. So can anyone give me some help on this issue so i can set things up before they arrive. thanks.

okay, I have my computer hooked up to my viewsonic pjd6211 projector which uses a 120 htz vga connection and DLP glasses for 3D. I have windows xp with an AMD 5670 card. I have tried my DLP glasses with a few games using IZ3d trial period but will loose it after the trial ends. IZ3D discontinued there product and are unable to continue after the trial period and being that i have only Windows XP I'm out of luck. IZ3D was the only program that i know of that works with my projector and windows xp.

I had an older model viewsonic (5123 I believe) This was not officially supported by Nvidia 3D vision, thus my PC was not seeing the 3D capable projector as being 120Hz. I hacked some Acer drivers to make my PC think it was a certified 3D vision display. Now I only used the projector for home theater use and Console Gaming, which worked great at the time. What I noticed that on my other PC with an AMD card (5770) it did not play well with the 3D vision glasses. I thus switched to DLP link glasses and used Stereoscopic player for my 3D movies and VLC for non 3D. Now for gaming you might need to use the TriDef 3D software, that might be the route to take to get your DLP link glasses and games to work correctly.

The only problem i see with that is that i can't use 3D vision. I still have windows xp and 3D vision doesn't support windows xp. I'm going to get windows 7 in couple of months so untill then i need to see what i can do to enjoy 3D content using my optoma DLP glasses that i use for my viewsonic pjd6211 projector. When i get windows 7 and 3D vision then i'll be good to go because 3D vision does support my monitor. So untill then...what to use??
