I am quite surprised no one has posted anything about this movie, perhaps you guys just don't know of it?

I just got done watching this and really enjoyed it, not only was the 3D pretty decent but the movie cracked me up and made me laugh. Adam Sandler's voice as Dracula was funny and seeing all the goofy monsters was a real treat. My favorite was Frankenstein, he was the coolest.

I am not gonna say much more, buy this and enjoy it for yourself. You will not be disappointed!cool.gif

3D items I own:

Sony 46" LX900 active 3D set

Sony HMZ-T3 (Cushion pads and light blocker mod)

LG LW6500 passive 3D set

PS3 & PS4

Sony BDP-S570 BD3D player

JVC-GS-TD1 (with Cyclopital base extender)

Fujifilm W3

Sony Alpha 55 (for 3D panoramic photos)

I saw it on Vudu last night. Was expensive, so I just saw the 2 minute preview. Looked OK. I will put it on my rental list for next month. Interesting that it was available on Vudu 3D a week early. I wonder if it was a mistake??? smile.gif

A lot of recent movies have been showing up on Vudu a couple weeks before the discs come out. They seem to want people to switch to online delivery, but I will never do that. I got an early copy of Hotel Transylvania since I'm reviewing it for another site, sad to say I was not impressed by the 3D in this one- seemed like an afterthought here.

This was one of the favorites at CES for Sony to demo. It will release on the 29th and I have it on preorder for rental.

Watched it tonight and felt the story was borderline boring, the 3D was average. This is one I'm glad I saw but more glad I only rented it. Probably for those 3D haters, its one where if you saw it only in 2D, you didn't miss much.

Saw it 2D in theaters, didn't think it was all that special. Probably never watch it again, and won't really miss it.

Welcome to Rivendell, Mister Anderson.

I watched it last night and thought once was enough; good family entertainment.

However I was more impressed by the lack of ghosting on my Panasonic vt65. I was using Sony Playstation 3d glasses and was very satisified. I kept looking for a ghosted image but couldn't find any.

Is this an improvement to the mastering techniques of the medium. Hope all futher releases have the same lack of ghosting present

There were many high contasted areas even light object against dark backgrounds and I could not preceive any ghosting.

Ghosting is a display issue, not a disc/transfer problem. My JVC projectors are very prone to ghosting, but my single chip DLP does not ghost at all.....none.

JVC 3D: Been there, done that, bought a DLP

We saw this in the theater and we enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to renting it on 3D!
