Picked it up yesterday. Loved them when I was a kid. I wasn't expecting much from it, but I enjoyed it. I thought the 3d was pretty good, a few pop outs and good depth. Several scenes had many layers to them. A lot of half nakedness to carry the not so great acting/story. Meh, a lot of old horror moves did the same.

I was kinda surprised to see all the hate its gotten, rotten tomatoes score of 19%. Its really not that bad. I think it suffers from what all great franchises do, hit it out of the park or take hate.

Fritz! Fritz, get up for God's sake! Get up! They've killed Fritz! They've killed Fritz! Those lousy stinking yellow fairies! Those horrible atrocity-filled vermin! Those despicable animal warmongers!

I agree. But the cgi blood and gore was soooo bad. The last part with that grinder my god was that terrible. I'm a fan of the hatchet style no cgi. Woulda make this one a lot better..... The girl who plays the lead made it all worth while tho smile.gif

My dog didn't like the chainsaw sound. She kept running outside with her tail between her legs. LOL... As for the movie itself, I've watched worst slasher films, but the 3D was pretty good.
