I read a while ago that the Xbox One would support 3D games. Anyone know if this is true at launch, or something that will come as part of an update like 3D bluray support?

If yes, are there any launch games supporting 3D?

To the best of my knowledge no Xbox One launch game has a 3D option.

There were reports that Call of Duty: Ghosts and Assassin's Creed IV both had 3D support but those were apparently incorrect.

The only game that I know of that supports 3D at launch is Trine 2 (a downloadable game) for the PS4.

I'm disappointed as well. Its ironic in that we finally have some consoles powerful enough to pump out 3D visuals at good resolutions and games from franchises which have embraced 3D in the past (Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Killzone) are coming out, yet no developers seem interested in supporting 3D out of the gate. Hopefully they'll become a bit more prevalent as this new generation of consoles matures.
