Not bad for a dark thriller. Will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
You follow a well-known writer and his wife as they struggle with the death of a child and are confronted by intruders wearing masks. They play cat and mouse with the intruders throughout the movie, creating a lot of fear and tension. Ending is a twist as well.
The 3D was okay. Didn't add much to the movie except for some inside house shots to give depth to character interaction. It also appeared that one of the cameras had a slightly better depth-of-field, therefore the out-of-focus parts of the images did not blend well for each eye, giving a disturbing image now and then. There were also lots of gradient-banding issues in the darker images. This movie requires a high-lumen 3D projector to be enjoyed since many scenes are near dark. Sound was okay, and the actors matched their parts well, I thought. Not something I would buy, though, as I rented this.
