Since Vudu gave me a $5 credit I thought we might try a 3d offering from them for the 1st time this weekend. Well, 3d no longer shows up when I click on "collections" when using my Roku.confused.gif Fortunately, I tried through my Panny 220 player and they are still there.smile.gif
Hopefully the 3d selections not being on the Roku is just a temporary glitch.

The "featured Collections" for 3D is missing here too. Maybe a temporary glitch. But Vudu is still selling them. I was considering getting the 3D / 2D plus bonus features of Lego Movie and it as well as all of them are still there. Just do a search for 3D and on the right you will see all their offerings. I looked on my Vizio since it was handy. I use PS3 and a WDTV in the Home theater.

This loss of 3D in the Collections happened once before but was back in a few days.

I believe no Roku's ever supported Vudu 3D.. Vudu & Netflix use frame-packed. Roku's will do side by side 3D.Here's a reply from Roku on Vudu 3d.

July 23,2013

Dear ( name),

We appreciate your time in contacting Roku Email Support and for giving us such valuable
feedback.

We understand that you would like to know if you can use your 3D glasses and TV to view 3D
content on the Roku player. We would like to provide you information about this.

Viewing 3D material is not applicable on the Roku player. This is a product limitation since
3D contents has a different video requirement higher than what the Roku player support.

We are hopeful that we were able to properly address your concern. If you have other questions,
you may also reach us through our convenient modes of contact options by visiting this link:

I believe you guys are correct. After thinking about this I guess I'd viewed the 3d movies offered in "collections" previously via my Panny player, NOT the Roku.redface.gif Hey, I plead senior CRS..........

I'm not trying to sell product here but when I wanted a simpler device to view Netflix and Vudu 3D, and You Tube 3D, vs. my PS3, I ran through all the specs and the WDTV came out the winner. Apple Tv was second but more expensive. At the time Roku couldn't even do You Tube, much less 3D. The only wish for my WDTV is I would like to access the internet videos from the network web pages. I have not been able to use a conventional URL browser on WDTV.

Looking at the Amazon specs for WDTV, 3D is not indicated anywhere.

So, the WD TV DOES play Netflix 3D and does so without issues?confused.gif I tried the Sony 5100 specifically for it and it was a loser.

Thanks Don.

No Netflix 3D, just the super HD movies. The WDTV Netflix app doesn't support it yet. Just You Tube3D and Vudu 3D.

I have to use the PS3 for Netflix 3D content. That works flawlessly. It will do the YT 3D with difficulty in setup, and Vudu 3D is only at 720P.
