netflix 3d dvd's?

does anyone subscribe to netflix physical service? I have streaming but my internet sucks... yay america... and I cant stream 3d. I was thinking about subscribing to their physical service but cant browse it without subbing first, which is terrible for a consumer.

They do have some 3D discs, but only the ones with both 2D/3D on one disc. A few titles off the top of my head...I, FRANKENSTEIN, NURSE (Oh Paz, you'll never change!), DREDD

I know you're a really critical kind a guy on 3D. Did you see Nurse in 3D? I thought this title was not worthy of the benefit of 3D. In fact some movies like this, the 3D will distract. If ever there was an example of doing 3D for box office $$ this one is the poster child of worthless 3D. ( IMO ) Actully the story itself was pretty lame.

Oh you'd be surprised at how much leeway I give a lot of films! Low expectations for this one was an understatement..I was afraid it would turn out to be like one of those Skin-emax. offerings. Yeah, it was sort of lame and dumb...but I still had fun with it. (I'm a bit biased though, having met a Paz on another project. She is a firecracker.) I agree that the 3D didn't add much to it (certainly not as much as I hoped!)and in no way would I call this a demo-worthy use of 3D, but I seem to recall it had a couple of...copious moments. (My friend ducked during one scene.) The movie is not even a trifle but a hoot after a couple drinks at least, in a MST3K way. I actually found it more entertaining than TRANSFORMERS!

I know the drill! But the work I did I didn't meet too many celebrities. James Gandolfini walked on my set once while shooting a commercial in NYC. I asked him if he would like to give a testimonial and he declined in his Tony Soprano persona. After that meeting I became a fan of the series.
