Looking for a 26-32". Leaning towards a samsung.

I seen a 26" on amazon for 225. 720p, 60hz, samsung. Figured that was a decent price. See any deals out there?

Yes, really.

Can you distinguish 1080p from 720p on a 26" screen?

At the 2-3 foot distance most people sit from their computer monitors, quite easily.

That doesn't even take into account the difference in usable screen real estate for computer usage between 1366x768 vs. 1920x1080/1920x1200.

Easily if connected to a pc. You get way more screen real estate at 1080p. Anyone would be able to notice that. Open up a spreadsheet and see the difference.

I figured a 720p 26" was better than a 15" CRT.

I'm just looking for deals here. I already use a 46" 1080p LCD for one screen. I just need a smaller one.
