address is an apartment building.. phone is a cell in new mexico.. i figured it was not legit, but never hurts to check..

they do answer email, say it is all new stuff and you can pay with paypal, which does offer some protection.. i am thinking about
giving them a shot..

I ordered an item from them.
I made a payment through Paypal.
But, he said that it was not successful and asked to pay through Western Union to some unknown person in Texas.
I did not see transaction in credit card also.
Western Union was big red flag.
I still made the payment.
But, my account in Western Union was unverified, so, had to wait for a day to verify.

So, I spent some time searching internet about fraudulent merchants,
and I found out that these guys ask to make payment through Western Union.
so that, it won't be refundable.
I even chatted with a western union guy and he confirmed that WU is in business of sending money, but not holding and refunding.
So, I cancelled the transaction.

That guy has registered domain 15 days ago.
Also, he uses free email (gmail).
I did scam check from scamadvisor.com and it showed the site as very suspicious.
viableonlinesales.com domain's technical contact and administrative contact shows the information of domain hosting providers (domainadmin@highwire.com).
Also, my guess is that, he hosted the website using a pre-existing template from the hosting provider.
When I called him, he sounded rude. Probably, he is from middle-east.
But, I heard him typing something to search if the camera is available or not.

How can they manage to sell an item half of the original price?
He might have been legit, but there are too many big IFs.
So, it was not worth risk.
I felt I was too close to being cheated.
Thanks WU, It saved me few hundred bucks.

At the end, I replied him saying "Good luck with other stupid customers". smile.gif

[Update] I ended up writing a blog post on them.
my experience with probably a fraudulent merchant from Wisconsin

Unfortunately I found this thread after purchasing a TV from these folks. After a week of silence they finally contacted me with my shipping info, which ended up being four tv's shipped and another invoice with the difference. They indicated their policy is to sell a minimum of four items, therefore I had to buy four to get the price listed. Nowhere on the original invoice, website, or during the 20+ emails that we sent did they indicate the minimum quantity crap. I asked for a refund, and they indicated their policy is a 21 business day refund policy, which is ridiculous compared to every other shopping experience in my life. I get me tax refund check back in less time. I have launched a complaint and claim with PayPal. I'm confidant I will get a refund, but this was an awful shopping experience.

Same experience as jgullick. They claim that they only sell 4 items and use a scammer shipping company to try to make you think they are shipping the items. There are a ton of red flags about Viable Solutions LLC but I went ahead as the price was too good to pass up. I also filed a dispute w/ paypal as soon as the "we'll send you 4 items" came up and just received the ruling in my favor this morning for my money back. Stay clear!

It appears to be an apartment building
http://www.mandelgroup.com/apartments/apartment_detail.cfm?n_id=73

I have to laugh since their website states
"The guiding philosophy of our store is to enable you to come in and touch, feel, experiment, ask, and discuss your needs, without sales pressure"
and
"In cooperation with manufacturers, Viable Solutions, LLC regularly schedules events where the manufacturers show their newest and hottest products to our staff and to our customers. In addition, we encourage various photographic and videographic organizations to schedule monthly seminars and inspirational lectures at the "Viable Solutions, LLC Event Space"
and
"We sincerely hope you will visit our SuperStore"

I'm surprised this happened to you guys. I got my sharp 80" TV (1 only was ordered) in 10 days after ordering it. Who else has ordered and had no problems?

Who else would even think of ordering from them?
