I am ready to brave the crowds on Black Friday (really Black Thursday now a days) to save $$$ but I'm not blown away by any of the deals. The reviews of the $899 55" Panasonic TC-L55ET5 at Best Buy receives mixed reviews and I cant see to find much info on the Samsung 55" UN55ES6003 for $999 at Sears. I am looking to spend $1000 and appreciate the help.

Can I ask where you're already finding information on Black Friday deals?

2012blackfridayads.com

Also the Samsung 6003 is a black friday tv that is why u cant find anything on it. It is the equivalent to the 6100 if u want to look at reviews. Someone else on this forum can explain why they make separate models for black friday. They did this last year as well on the D6000 and it was the D6003. Good luck. Samsung has some really good deals this black friday.

Thank you. I came to the same conclusion on the 60" Visio at Walmart. It's serious business to snag a front cover Black Friday item at Walmart but Im up for the challenge!

Good luck, jamescam. You might as well kiss Thanksgiving night goodbye, though...if any given Walmart has more than six or so of these, I'll be kind of shocked.

...and I need your sweet love, Latina T-Mobile girl!

Yup, I just saw that ad this morning for crazy $299. That makes me really happy that folks can enjoy decent big screen for that price. I recall just back in 07 a 20" westinghouse at BB was going for $479....and guess who bought it? me, well it was for my aunt.
